Research Interests

My primary research interests include the design, development and clinical evaluation of interventions that aim to improve mobility and postural balance in children and adults with lower-limb impairments. This includes the development of new prosthetic and orthotic technologies, as well as evaluation of potential interventions such as video game systems for improving postural balance.

Key words: Rehabilitation engineering, prosthetics, orthotics, assistive devices, engineering design, biomechanics, human gait, gait and balance assessment, video-game based rehab, evidence-based practice, technologies for developing countries.
