DEN1070H: Advances in Dental Materials Science

This course presents a comprehensive review of the developments occurring in dental biomaterials research, under three main themes: 1. Materials Processing and Technologies, 2. Material/Biological Interfaces AND 3. Clinical Applications and Associated Biomaterial Issues.

There will be no formal reports or exams in this course, however the research ability of the graduate students will be assessed throughout the term based on three criteria: 1) ability to identify clinical and/or scientific problems, 2) to propose a viable plan to study the problems and 3) to be able to defend their plan.
