Discovery in the Community

Dr. Dawn Kilkenny is the faculty liaison supporting the IBBME Discovery Program. This outreach project is geared towards socio-economically challenged communities, bridging the gap between secondary and post-secondary education. High school students are given hands-on experience in research facilities at the University of Toronto. By bringing science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) research and corresponding technology to students, they will become more exposed, allowing them to make a more informed decision for their future.
